  • botanical printing class with the Dye Queen

    Botanical Printing workshop: Finished Look for new class 2025

    Join botanical dyer, Amanda de Beaufort (aka Dye Kween) for a two-hour workshop learning the basics of botanical printing with flowers. 

    Amanda will guide you through creating one-of-a-kind prints on fabric using fresh and dried flowers. You will learn the basics of scouring and mordanting your fabric to create permanent prints and what plants and flowers work best for creating bold prints on silk and cotton.

    Flower Arranging Workshop: 10/5

    Take some time out and tap into your love of flowers! Perfect for all levels of floristry skill including beginners this studio class provides the opportunity to create a beautiful, seasonal arrangement while learning professional design skills. Design staff will be on hand to help your through the process and answer all your questions. Take home home your arrangement at the end of the evening. All the floral materials, vase, and tools needed for the class are provided.

  •  Mini autumn flavored cake iced and decorated with fresh edible flowers

    Cake Decorating with Flowers: 10/18

    Learn how to stack, ice, and decorate a 6" cake with local gal and cake artist Chef Brigitte Malivert and Studio Nectar Florals. Use organic edible fresh and dried flowers to create a sweet sensation all your own. Take your cake home to share or bring as the perfect hostess gift. Includes professional instruction, cake, all supplies and decor, and packing to take away. BYOB welcome. About 2 hours

    Intro series-No experience necessary. Limited to 12 students.

    Floral and botanical craft workshops for tweens (recommended for ages 8-13). Have a flower child of your own? Collecting bits of curios from every walk, finding magic in scrapes of ribbon and picking blooms from the garden? Learn how to transform nature's treasures into art- let’s get messy! Each day will bring a new craft and a new discovery: natural dying, botanical jewelry, sun printing on clothing, pressed flower art, etc. Most materials are included. Brown bag snack.

  • Wreath making classes using winter and holiday materials

    Wreath Making Workshops: 12/1-12/8

    Decorate your own holiday wreath in the Studio Nectar design aesthetic blending the natural world with a touch of sparkle. Includes demo, 20 inch mixed greenery wreath base, natures seasonal best material to add in, a decor bar of embellishments to pick from, and a ribbon bar for the finishing touch. Go home with ready to hang wreath.

    Minimum of 6 people to run workshop.

  • KIDS WORKSHOP-VALENTINE PRESSED FLOWER CARDS-FINISHED FOR 2024

    Come join us for a creative session and make bespoke valentines for your cherished ones. Employing a mix of techniques you will collage together unique elements like cynotypes, recycled book pages, silk ribbon, and pressed flowers. Cost is for parent and child (6+) or 2 friends (8+) and makes 5-6 cards.
